Go and dine at the restaurant. The food and service is the best..
Open each day 4pm to close
Amazing place!!!!My family of 4 were seated quickly and tended to quickly despite the one waitress Tonia who was helping many other tables. All the food was AMAZING. Most flavorful Italian food my family has ever had!!! A MUST TRY: STUFFED MUSHROOMS. Seriously amazing. Also portions are perfect, not too stuffing and not too light. Will gladly come back to this place again! :)
Very friendly, food was good and the wait wasn't very long. Pretty good for small town.
We rented the banquet room for a wedding reception dinner. Carolyn was on top of everything the day of the wedding and even was able to fix a minor problem when the cake vendor left out a layer of wedding cake. Because of her professionalism none of my guests knew the difference. My guests really enjoyed the food and the restaurant did an excellent job accommodating the needs of multiple guests with special dietary needs. Carolyn was also very helpful with coordinating decor for the wedding via the linens and was excited about our ideas (some of which were quite unconventional). If you are looking for an event location, or just a meal, I would recommend Mesa Italiana.
I suspected it couldn't match our go-to Italian restaurant, and I was right--- but not in the way I'd imagined: in my opinion, their lasagna dish put El Carino's to shame. The blue cheese salad dressing was smooth and bursting w/ flavor/bite. You may have a longer wait, but it's all worth it.
Great food and the prices were not too bad either. Our server Larry was great, so friendly and considerate.
35 minute wait and then my steak had been sitting done for 20 minutes before my bruschetta was done. The waitress was quite nice but the kitchen staffs timing sucks. Definitely only eat here if you dont mi d slow service and cold steak.i just got back to my hotel room to open the to go containers and the bruschetta is a joke? Maybe a tablespoon if shredded mozzarella. And my black and blue steak that my waitress assured me the cook knew how to do was punk not red inside and barely browned on the outside. Very poor food quality and service by the kitchen staff. The only reason for the two stars was the wait staff. They were very attentive. And my poor waitress was obviously embarrassed by the whole situation.
The food was very deliciousit was surprisingly good for such a small town. It was actually fairly crowded at 7 p.m. on a Tuesday evening. The standard Italian fare was especially good I really enjoyed the calamari appetizer and the sauce dipping with Bread was outstanding. I would say I must do for this town. Prices are reasonable. Wine prices were around six or seven dollars a glass
Hide gem in Arizona, did not even notice it when we first pulled into town. We asked for a recommendation from the KOA and were thankful to be pointed here. We arrived before the crowd hit and had our choice of tables. Great and friendly service. Fantastic food. Will definitely return.
On our way to California and ordered take out. I have to say the pizza and stuffed mushrooms were awesome. Highly recommend. If I'm ever back this way I'll be back.
What a great place. I will admit. I was not sure at first once the food came. Which doesn't take long. It was all perfectly cooked.
Bartender/server managing the entire room very well.m, thanks Jessica!! Sauce on three dishes tasted the same. Shrimp was perfectly cooked and tasty, chicken Jerusalem moist and tender.
Very good food and great service with a nice atmosphere
Food was good but trying to keep my drink filled was difficult even when I asked for a refill. Expensive.
Sat on the bar side. Service was outstanding. I had the fettuccine alfredo
The service was lacking. The steaks were not cooked correctly. Could not eat and still charged. Salad was wrong. Ordered baked potato and got fries Not changed. This was a horrible experience. I am not sure how this place got such a high rating!!!
Great Italian restaurant! We were a very large group and I must say that everyone was impressed by the quality of the food! The appetizers were awesome - big shout out to the calamari and the artichokes! The entrees were able to impress us even more - the eggplants parmigiana would certainly compete with any dish made by a true Italian nonna.
It was pretty expensive and ordered the cannelloni it was stuffed with what looked and tasted like coleslaw at least finely shredded cabbage and carrots and the sauce was white and watery the pizza was amazing though!!
Great staff excellent food.
We came through on a vacation and we were looking for a nice sit-down restaurant to get a break from all the fast food garbage. Options were limited, and from the outside it looked a little disappointing. However after coming inside we knew we had found exactly what we were looking for. They had awesome service and the food was fantastic! Do yourself a favor, come inside for a break from the same fast food garbage and have a real meal.
Great place for a good meal on the road.
Hidden gem of Italian cuisine with an unlikely name in an unlikely place.
Good food, good service and taking the the safety of their customers seriously during this pandemic.
Excellent service along with exquisite food On a road trip with my family & friends from California to Tennessee now BACK towards Cali HANDS DOWN BEST PLACE WE STOPPED ROUND TRIP!!!
Excellent, friendly service! The Alfredo sauce is the best we’ve ever tried! The food here is authentic Italian. Take a detour to here. You won’t regret it!
This facility does not practice social distancing. We were halfway through dinner when they said people all the way around us. Disrespectful and completely unacceptable. We just found out why Arizona's numbers are rising!
Me and my mom went here on June 25,2020 the food was excellent and the service was excellent. We will go again
We’ve visited this restaurant a couple of times now - three and a half years between the first and latest visit - and the service and food both times has been top notch. Big portions and very quick service. Staff are very attentive and the food is excellent. They certainly have the best garlic bread I’ve found this side of the Atlantic!
Great restaurant, with a family home cooking feel. For a small town with lots of Mexican American restaurants this was a great choice to mix it up. Lots of great choices for food including a grill menu from the attached sports bar. Lots of great drink on the menu too, and amazing personable service.
Great service from waiter. Food excellent. This resteraunt is a favorite of my 2 granddaughters. Always their first choice
Wow, my wife and I were astonished. The food quality was outstanding. We didn't have high hopes of a quality meal in Holbrook, AZ, but were we surprised. Excellent service lead by Larry. Dessert was remarkable. See photo attachment. I could go on but would run out of time and space.
Our waiter, Larry, was excellent! Anticipated our every need. The food was delicious, great meat lasagna! They have a very nice menu to select from. Yummy Tuxedo cake and the best coffee I've had in ages! Nice dining room, fairly priced.
Visited twice in two days! Excellent selection. High-quality ingredients. Excellent veal options(tough to find). Wonferful local craft beer options. Larry, my server for both nights, is part of an extremely rare class of professional servers. Truly a positive experience- both nights!
This place has the best veal. This time I got veal picatta. I cleaned my plate. Our wine was a delicious complement to our meal.
Had a delicious ceasar salad, garlic bread, and pasta combo. Great service. Atmosphere is very lovely - was told that they used time they were closed to do a renovation. Highly recommend!
Good libations, great pizza, and Lovely Ronnie! Come from miles around for a friendly meal. I have stopped in every time passing through.
If you order spaghetti and want meatballs, ask for it but it's additional cost! Otherwise, it's just spaghetti with sauce.
Great for Holbrook. Generic for Los Angeles. Good food good service. Decent atmosphere
Excellent service, friendly staff and great food. The place became packed and people kept coming in for dinner on a Sunday night. We arrived just ahead of the rush, but the staff handled those who came in after us, seating them quickly and with aplomb. Excellent sauces.
I wasn’t sure what to expect based on previous reviews but we loved the food. My daughter had chicken fettuccine Alfredo & I had the pasta combo. Both were excellent!! We sat in the bar area bc the restaurant was full but it was cozy in the bar. The servers were crazy busy but efficient & friendly. We would definitely eat here again.
Amazing food. A little pricey. Great small restaurant feel
Lovely restaurant in Holbrook. There is a parking lot in the front of restaurant. The dishes we ordered were popular.
The food and service was wonderful. Really enjoyed the calamari, chicken parmesan, and the feature that evening. But the real star of the show was the bananas foster. Try to save room for it because it is incredible.
Great service. Even better food
We stayed at the KOA campground and stumbled upon this little gem. Not the prettiest spot, but friendly and the food was damn good.
Very good Italian food. The lasagna was meaty and the serving huge. Our son had the Linguini and Clams, while my wife went with the Veal and Shrimp. Both were delicious and loaded with garlic. As in a ton of it.We added a dessert and went with a cannoli and Bananas Foster. Both were good with the Bananas Foster being huge.Great service too.
We stopped for a quick dinner..of spaghetti and salad..took 1 hour 40 minutes..Service although friendly was the slowest. Spaghetti with meat sauce was tasty..salad was not crisp...
This place was amazing. Small Quant place. The alfredo sauce was to die for. Very friendly staff & an amazing cook. Definitely worth eating at if your driving thru.
Our favorite stop when driving across country. Great food. Quick service and large portions. Pay an extra three dollars to split a meal and two salads are included. Add half a carafe of decent house wine, and a delicious desert. We'll be back next trip!
It doesn't look like much from the outside but for dinner at least the interior is candle-lit and almost elegant. They clearly take their Italian food seriously, and some of the specials were clearly created by a chef who knows the genre. But I was just a tired traveller who stumbled in off the highway and wanted calories before bed, so I ordered spaghetti with house red sauce, the least expensive entree on the menu at 13 something. Even that had enough complexity to be interesting and came with some pretty good fresh garlic bread. Side salad too, although that was more forgettable, but the house dressing was creditable.
I sent my friends to this place with my warmest recommendations. I visit this place often. This recommendation is always successful. The meals are great and the team is efficient and cooperative. Whenever we go to this place we enjoy a delightful time. warmly recommended.
